Dr. Mohammed Al-Jarahallah’s Surgical History: Dr. Mohammed Al-Jarahallah received his General Medicine degree in 1978 from Cairo University. He then specialized in general surgery at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland from 1984-1986 and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He progressed from a newly graduated physician to a specialist, then a senior consultant in general surgery, and finally the head of the surgery department.
Dr. Al-Jarahallah and Surgical Advancements: Dr. Mohammed Al-Jarahallah has introduced his own special methods in various obesity, bariatric, and laparoscopic surgeries that have been presented at several international conferences in the Gulf and the Middle East. He was appointed as the head of the surgery and emergency unit at the Armed Forces Hospital in 1989.

He became the Minister of Health in Kuwait in 1999 and served until 2005.
