- Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Aliarallah received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Cairo University in 1978.
- He received the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons – Glasgow in 1986.
- Then he became a member of the American College of Surgeons in 1999.
- He was awarded the honorary membership of the Royal Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001.
Work Experience
- Dr. Mohammad Al-Jarallah began his professional life by working as a doctor in the Department of Surgery at Al-Sabah Hospital from (1979-1983).
- After that, he specialized in surgery and became a specialist in surgery – Al-Sabah Hospital (1987-1988).
- Then Head of the Emergency and Surgery Unit – Armed Forces Hospital (1989 – 1990)
- At the Makki Gomaa Center, he became the head of the Department of Surgery and Oncology in the period (1991-1995).
- Then Head of the Medical Services Authority at the Ministry of Defense and Head of the Surgery Department (1996-1999)
- He held the position of Minister of Health in the State of Kuwait from 1999-2005.
- After that, he became a surgical consultant in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense (2005 – 2012).
- Then a member of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (2013-2017).

- Establishing and chairing the Bariatric Surgeons Associations in the Gulf and the Middle East.
- Introduction of modern bariatric surgery in Kuwait (1995-1999).
- Organizing the first bariatric surgery workshop in the State of Kuwait, February 1999.
